Rediscover the wonders, pains, and joys within “the age of Aquarius.” HAIR celebrates the sixties counterculture in all its barefoot, long-haired, bell-bottomed, beaded and fringed glory. With an infectiously energetic rock beat, the show explores ideas of identity, community, global responsibility, and peace, as it remains as relevant as ever, examining what it means to be a young person in a changing world.Once a mirror held up to the explosive and experimental life of young people in the 1960s, HAIR now provides all ages a microscopic view of the eternal struggle of youth finding their voice.
This Playhouse production will feature full frontal nudity, simulated drug use, adult language, and other adult situations. Under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian.
